Whipped *LOVE Butta has arrived!!!

17 Feb

Woo-hoo what a great way to end the week! Making and listing in Etsy the famous Whipped LOVE Butta! I can’t believe I haven’t made this in like forever. I SOOOOO forgot how moisturizing and non-greasy it is.

My fingers have been dry and cracking. As a matter of fact this morning my finger split open.  SO, after I was done making the BUTTA (because I wear gloves while I’m making it) I took the little that was left in the bowl and rubbed it into my fingers. I swear the finger that split open this morning feels and looks 100% better. It’s probably a fluke but I’m amazed at the difference with my hands and fingers.

And this time I made a new scent Lavender/Citrus that I am telling you I could smell ALL day and ALL night it’s that good! It’s a clean fresh scent. I could eat it it smells THAT good!

***Make note to myself NEVER stop making the Butta the *LOVE Butta!***

Happy Wednesday!

It’s another frigid day here on the east coast. And ALL I can say about it is IK! Before I get to what I’ve been looking for I want to share that we’re having a CLEARANCE SALE in our Etsy Store…If you’re interested you’ll find it here.

Great Luxurious Soaps at ICY COOL Prices!**No Coupons Accepted….

Okay, now have you ever found what you were looking for?

I’ve been on the search for the LONGEST time for a Body Butter or what I like to call Body Butta… I can never find one that’s right for me, ever! and I mean ever! They’re either too goopey, gooey, or not moisturizing enough, or they stink…(I’m not into stinky things.) This has been an ongoing quest to find THE PERFECT moisturizer. So, I decided I was going to make my own!

It was a long hard road but I’ve finally perfected MY Body *LOVE Butta!

This is how I did it!

I Measured the Distilled Water.

1

Then Measured theStearic Acid

2

Then the Emulsifying Wax (E-WAX)

3

Then the Oils & Butters

4

Then I melted the oils and butters

6

Then I Mixed the Distilled Water, Butters & Oils Together!

8

Mixed with my Stick Blender

9

Then I took a nap and waited for it to cool down and firm up….(very relaxing)

This is what is looked like when it was cool and firm enough…

and since I made it with WATER

I had NO CHOICE but to add a Preservative!

(otherwise it WILL get Nasty’s, and who wants Nasty’s? Hint, not me) 🙂

Then it was time to WHIP!

Now, it’s whipped….
