And SO it begins!

29 Jan

TOday was the day!

For what you ask?

TOday was the day that I made a batch of soap.

*hahahaha,  caution ramble about to happen…..*

❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

THE first batch of soap since October 2014. YES! that is just what I said October 2014. I can’t believe it’s been that long it seems like just yesterday. But it wasn’t like yesterday. My hubby told me I should make a test batch because it’s been so long.

❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

Did I listen?  Did I listen?

The answer to that question would be NO! Hahaha, NO  of coarse I didn’t listen to him.  I thought well I’ve made hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of batches of soap. It’ll be like riding a bike.

You know what?

It wasn’t like  riding a bike.  Oh, don’t get me wrong. I know how to make soap but it’s the little things like how a recipe reacts in order to do certain designs.

But I persevered and got the soap done! My fingers, toes, and everything else is crossed waiting for the the unveiling tomorrow………..Here’s a preview of the top. This is FRESH and I’m hoping the inside looks just as good as the outside! What are your thoughts? Leave your comments below…..

I’m going to have a Busy week making Soap, especially Loofah Soap!

24 Jul

I had another busy week at the Boonton Farmers market. The funny thing is that my online customers buy completely different soaps than my farmers’ market customers. I just can’t figure out why? But they do……

Anyway, I’m almost “Sold out” of all the Loofah soap I made. People are just  loving it. Who knew?

Loofah Soap

This is what some of them said:

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the loofah soap

“Keep stock on that loofah boy, I love it!

(of coarse I’m not a boy but I understood what they were saying)

I’m just amazed and thankful that they are loving it! So guess what I’m doing the next few days? Yep! making Loofah Soap. I am so happy that people are loving my soaps. I guess it’s because I’m a people pleaser. It just bothers me when someone isn’t pleased w/ one of my soaps that I have to make it right……

P.S.  if you are interested in buying a bar – this is where you can buy Loofah Soap!

Happy Tuesday! Hope your Week is going well………Mine is pretty good so far.

Anyway, did you know?

Shea Butter:

Shea Butter

is also known as African Butter. It comes from the pits of the African butter tree also known as Karite Nut tree which grows in Africa (Central.) The tree can live as much as 300 years. The butter that’s expelled from the nut is a wonderful moisturizer for hands and feet and Great in a bar of Soap!
